Beaver removal project!

Post  Maddox on 2012-09-14, 21:13

So, while at camp a couple weeks ago we were sitting at the pavillion by the pond waiting for the onslaught of Teal that pour into the pond each night, when Dad said "what is that". Here a beaver was swimming across the pond about 10-15yds away. We haven't had any problems in the last few years, but previously they had damned up our drainage and flooded the shed. The pond is spring fed, so if it doesn't drain it creates a mess. We heard this guy chomping on the brush through out the evening.

Here is the video I took.

Anybody have any good tips on how to take him out? At that distance the bow would have been a nice option! All I had was a half empty can, and I am not wasting that! lol!

I would task you with taking him instinctively but history proves that to be a long shot. I've got a bullet for him if I ever see him. As a disclaimer if the game warden is reading this I was totally kidding and will make sure he has plenty of food and stays healthy Twisted Evil
